PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting-packaging device for eggs of a high processing efficiency by starting the preparation of a next packaging container at the packing position of a packaging container feeding means at an early stage until the completion of the packing of specified eggs. SOLUTION: This sorting-packaging device for eggs is constituted of a sorting-collecting means, the packaging container feeding means, and a transferring means. In this case, the sorting-collecting means sorts eggs E according to classes, and collects the eggs E to respective circulate-carrying conveyors which are partitioned according to the classes. The packaging container feeding means arranges packaging containers P which are determined in advance according to the classes at the specified packing position. The transferring means takes out the eggs E from the collecting place in which the eggs E have reached a collected state of a specified quantity, and transfers the eggs E to the packaging container P which is arranged at the specified packing position of the packaging container feeding means. By the time when the packing of the eggs E is completed for the packaging container P which stands by at the packing position of the first packaging container conveyor 6 of the packaging container feeding means, the preparing work for a next packaging container P to the packing position of the second packaging container conveyor 9 is started.
