PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently deal with a customer without using a large-scale device. SOLUTION: First and second input means (such as a keyboard 110 or a scanner 111) are provided as data input means. Commodity sales information based on commodity data input by the first input means 110a, 111a or the like and commodity sales information based on commodity data input by the second input means 110b, 111b or the like are displayed on displays (an operator display 107 and a customer display 120) with the display thereof divided into right-side display and left-side display, and commodity sales data processing is executable individually right and left (a dual mode). When a mode is set as the dual mode, the input of the commodity data by the first input means 110a, 111a or the like and the input of the commodity data by the second input means 110b, 111b are distinguished by making a display state of a sound or the display in time of the input of the commodity data different from each other.
