The method involves initializing an adaptive filter using initial coefficients. The updated coefficients are written in a volatile memory of an RF module, read and stored in a non volatile memory of a base band module. The stored coefficients are written in the volatile memory. The RF module is reactivated and useful signals are received. Updating of the coefficients is calculated, from the written coefficients. An independent claim is also included for a wireless device.
