PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light alloy wheel for an automobile providing a rim part configuration which is lightweight and high in mechanical strength, in manufacturing a run-flat tire with a supporting surface for fixing a support ring in the central part of the rim part. SOLUTION: The light alloy wheel consists of flange parts 4, 5, an inner bead seat part 6, the rim part 2 with the supporting surface 13 for fixing a supporting body supporting a tire from the inner peripheral side when the inner pressure of the tire is decreased, and a disk part 3. At least a part of the supporting surface 13 is provided in the center of the rim part 3, and the minimum thickness of the rim part of the supporting surface 13 is thinner than that of a connection part 12 formed between the inner bead seat part 6 and the supporting surface 13.
