PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a large bolt tightening force to be applied to the bead of a metal laminated gasket. SOLUTION: This metal laminated gasket 20 for an internal combustion engine comprises multiple sheets of bead plates 21 and 22 interposed between mating faces 2 and 11 between a cylinder block 1 and a cylinder head 10 and in which annular beads 30, 31, 32, 33, 40, 41, 42, and 43 projected toward the mating face 2 of the cylinder block 1 or the mating face 11 of the cylinder head 10 are formed around the opening parts 3, 12, 5, 14, 6, and 15 of either or both of the cylinder block 1 and the cylinder head 10. In the gasket 20, spacer plates 23 and 24 thinner than the heights of the annular beads 30, 31, 32, 33, 40, 41, 42, and 43 are disposed around the annular beads 30, 31, 32, 33, 40, 41, 42, and 43.
