PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a rubber roller having high friction coefficient as well as high abrasion resistance, and having performance eliminating generation of a truck of the roller, and to produce the rubber roller at a low cost. SOLUTION: The roller has a shaft mounted to a hollow part of the rubber roller to feed sheets of paper. An inner circumferential face of the rubber roller is a satin surface or a knurling surface, surface roughness Rmax of the inner circumferential face is 0.05 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less, surface roughness Rmax of the inner circumferential face is more than or equal to surface roughness Rmax of an outer circumferential face, and Shore A hardness based on JIS K6253 is 20 or more and 60 or less.
