The present invention also provides a casing film for food that can be applied to, in addition to smoked food, unsmoked dry sausage, dry ham, etc. <??>The casing film for food is characterized in that it comprises a mixture of polyvinylpyrrolidone and thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin is preferably a polyamide resin. The mixing ratio of the polyamide resin to polyvinylpyrrolidone is preferably 50 to 99:50 to 1 by weight, and more preferably 80 to 99:20 to 1 by weight. |
