PURPOSE: A method for setting a multi-user environment of a mobile communication terminal is provided to construct a multi-user environment in a terminal, and to distinguish terminal users by a fingerprint identification function, so that plural users can construct self environments as sharing one terminal. CONSTITUTION: A system detects a user's fingerprint(S101), and contrasts the detected user's fingerprint with a pre-registered user's fingerprint(S102). If the detected fingerprint is not a registered one, the system continuously maintains a standby state, and if the detected fingerprint is the registered one, the system loads the corresponding user's database(S103). The system continuously accumulates control and setup information related to terminal usage in the database(S104).
