PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery equipped with an exhaust duct which does not to slip off easily. SOLUTION: The battery 2 is equipped with a bus bar holder 20, the exhaust duct 21, and cells 23, wherein the bus bar holder 20 accommodates the cells 23, while the exhaust duct 21 includes a cover 32 and a duct 35. The cover 32 covers the oversurface part 20A of the bus bar holder 20. The duct 35 has at one end a movement hindering member 35A and is inserted between the cover 32 and the oversurface part 20A of the bus bar holder 20 in such an arrangement that the member 35A is in contact with the inner surface 32A of the cover 32. When exhaust gas 39 is generated inside the cells 23 and a safety valve 23c opens to allow the gas 39 to stagnate inside the cover 32, which causes the internal pressure of the cover 32 to heighten, the member 35A is pressed to the inner surface 32A of the cover 32 by the internal pressure of the cover 32.
