摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for inhibiting transcription of a gene, capable of being applied to a wider range in a simpler manner than ever, in a method for inhibiting the transcription of the gene, and to provide a method for utilizing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A peptide provided in the specification has an amino acid sequence expressed by: &alpha;<SP>1</SP>-Leu-&beta;<SP>1</SP>-Leu-&gamma;<SP>1</SP>-Leu (&alpha;<SP>1</SP>is Asp, Asn, Glu, Gln, Thr or Ser; &beta;<SP>1</SP>is Asp, Gln, Asn, Arg, Glu, Thr, Ser or His; and &gamma;<SP>1</SP>is Arg, Gln, Asn, Thr, Ser, His, Lys or Asp), an amino acid sequence of sequence number 63, or an amino acid sequence of sequence number 66.
