PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension unit of an ultrasonic surgery system which is improved in operability by making a handpiece operable without modifying the ultrasonic surgery apparatus. SOLUTION: This extension unit of an ultrasonic surgery system is equipped with a connection connector to supply an instruction signal to the connection connector part equipped so as to enable the instruction signal instructing to drive an ultrasonic vibrator to be inputted, a foot switch connector part as an inputting connector electrically connected to the connection connector so as to be able to supply the instruction signal outputted from the foot switch connector to the connection connector, and a hand switch connector part as an inputting connector electrically connected to the connection connector so as to be able to supply the instruction signal outputted from the hand switch connector to the connection connector.
