<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup and an optical disk device which are advantageous to cost reduction and size reduction and advantageous to the simplification of a wiring pattern and the improvement of productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The light receiving surface of a light receiving means is constituted of a single light receiving surface and the light receiving surface 28 is constituted of a plurality of divided light receiving surfaces separated by shielding bands 32, 34.
