PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine dioxide water production apparatus which has a simple structure, can be very small-sized, is easily portable, can instantly produce chlorine dioxide water with a required concentration, and can be handled even by a person having no knowledge about chlorine dioxide. SOLUTION: In the production apparatus, a sensor 61 is placed between a first tank 20 and a first quantitative pump 21, and a sensor 62, between a second tank 30 and a second quantitative pump 31 each for sensing existence/absence of a liquid agent; when each of the sensors 61 and 62 detects the absence of the liquid agent, the first and second quantitative pumps 21 and 31 stop their pumping action. In the apparatus, an air vent valve 63 is placed between the first quantitative pump 21 and its supply port, and an air vent valve 64, between the second quantitative pump 31 and its supply port; when the first and second quantitative pumps 21 and 31 are restarted, air vent is performed by the air vent valves 63 and 64.
