<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to diagnose the moisture of a cell in a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: A solid polymer fuel cell has a specific relation between the open circuit voltage (OCV) of the cell and the moisture inside the cell. When the open circuit voltage of the cell is in a first threshold value or less, the cell is diagnosed that the inside of the cell is in a dry state, and when the open circuit voltage of the cell is in a second threshold value or more, the cell is diagnosed that the inside of the cell is in an excess moisture state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
