<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living body tissue resection apparatus with which the location of traveling of a blood vessel under the living body tissue which is the object of a resection such as a lesion in mucous membrane tissue or the like in the body cavity. <P>SOLUTION: When an early carcinoma tissue 3 on a surface of the mucous membrane tissue 2 in the body cavity is confirmed to be obvious by an endoscope, a pointed head of a suction cup 32 disposed at a pointed head of the endoscope is pressed to the early carcinoma tissue 3 in an enclosing manner to suck so that the mucous membrane tissue 2 containing the early carcinoma tissue 3 in the suction cup 32 is deformed to protrude partially. In this process, if the blood vessel 1 is located underneath, a turbulence sound 36a is generated which is detected by a bimorph sensor 37 disposed in a cavity 32a of the suction cup 32, so that a signal processing means processes the signal to determine easily whether the blood vessel 1 is located or not based on whether the turbulence sound 36a is detected or not. Then, if not detected, an operator can quickly perform the resection treatment by charging a high-frequency snare 33 disposed at the pointed head of the suction cup 32 with electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
