PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy verification of whether or not contents released from an atmosphere of carbon dioxide gas are still usable.

SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide gas indicator includes a surface layer having a property of carbon dioxide gas permeability that allows the color-changing time of a pH indicator, when an outer packaging body is unsealed, to match the time by when the contents draw near enough to an unusable state.
