PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for felling trees and manufacturing timber with which timber having much commercial value can be efficiently, safely and economically manufactured via tree-felling and timber-manufacturing technology. SOLUTION: The processor 20 for felling trees and manufacturing timber is installed in a working vehicle 10 provided with a movable arm 14, holds a felled tree W to cut it into a predetermined length, and has the followings: a main body part 21 arranged at the tip of the movable arm; a holding part 22 holding the wood W; a transferring part 24 longitudinally transferring the wood W held by the holding part 22; a cutting part 26 cutting the wood W; an imaging device 30 imaging such a part of the wood W extending from the holding part 22 held by the holding part 22; a display device 40 arranged at the working vehicle 10 and receiving and displaying the imaged information on the wood W sent from the imaging device 30; and a communication means transmitting the image information from the imaging device 30 to the display device 40.
