PURPOSE: A lumbar traction device is provided to replace a motor with a cylinder and constitute a traction device for operating the cylinder so as to maintain the traction for a certain time after the pumping of a handy pump thereby providing a convenient medical treatment. CONSTITUTION: The lumbar traction device(100) performs a traction treatment through a construction of a fixing member and a carrier member while pulling the carrier member to an air cylinder installed in a tractor body. A compressive spring is formed on an end of a cylinder rod of the cylinder. Restoring springs are installed at both sides of the cylinder. A carrier stand(350) is movable along a guide and has a rectangular guide panel at its upper and end portion, and a carrier plate at the upper portion. A belt fixing member(160) is formed on the carrier plate. A lower belt(360) has a fixing hole and male and female fastening members. An upper belt(480) has a male fastening member coupled with the female fastening member of a fixing plate. An air hose is connected to the cylinder. A release valve is installed to draw air from cylinder. A handy pump is installed outside the tractor body so as to be connected with the air hose.
