<p>Vehicle light comprises a light projector with a light source and lens to throw a light beam onto the road in front of the vehicle. A diaphragm is moved by light sensitive means in response to light from an oncoming vehicle, so that its own light beam is gradually blocked out to prevent dazzling of the driver of the oncoming vehicle. The diaphragm slides along a guide rod and a PTFE element is arranged between the guide rod and diaphragm. One of the relatively moving surfaces of the diaphragm and of the guide rod is formed, whilst the diaphragm is moved, in the longitudinal direction of the guide rod.</p> |
