APPARATUS FOR COATING STRIP WITH MgO AQUEOUS SOLUTION BY NON-CONTACT SPRAY TO REDUCE CONVENTIONAL DEFECTS SUCH AS STRIPED COATING AND NON-COATING DUE TO DAMAGE OF WRINGER ROLL

PURPOSE: To develop a non-contact type MgO aqueous solution coating apparatus for securing coating quality of MgO aqueous solution, reducing wringer roll processing cost and improving working efficiency by fundamentally preventing defects such as striped coating and non-coating. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for coating strip with MgO aqueous solution comprises solution supply rolls(10,10') engaged with each other by geared gears; up and down moving rods(17,17') formed on an upper part of the solution supply rolls and moved up and down by rotational motion of a worm wheel(20); a combination air ejection nozzle and penetrator(26) fixed to the up down moving rods and moved up and down by a rotary shaft that receives rotational motion of the surfaces(32,32') of supporting rolls(15) contacted with the solution supply rolls; and an air supply line(25) which is installed at the side surface of the combination air ejection nozzle and penetrator, and through which air is ejected in such a way that MgO picked by the solution supply rolls is ejected onto a strip(1).
