PURPOSE: A refrigerant charging device of an air conditioner is provided to restrict the adhesion and performance reduction of a compressor caused in compressing fluid by converting liquid refrigerant into gas right after injecting the refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant charging device for injecting refrigerant from a charging port(2) through a charging tube(1) into a main tube(T) of an air conditioner has a throttle device(6) disposed in the middle of the charging tube to phase-change the liquid refrigerant injected from the charging port into gas and to insert the gaseous refrigerant into the main tube. The throttle device is an orifice. The throttle device is fixed in the charging tube by a roll forming unit arranged at the charging tube. The liquid refrigerant inserted into the charging tube is phase-changed into gas by passing through a narrow passage of the throttle device.
