Coating protecting underground steel constructions in the anodic and cathodic range of stray currents comprises brown coal fly ash (S =2%; As >=0.1%) 30-98, calcium arsenate 1-50 (pref. 5-20), and Thomas slag 1-20 (pref. 5-10). The composition is inexpensive. The anodic protection is provided by the phosphate ions contained in Thomas slag. Calcium arsenate increases the hydrogen overpotential. |
