PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bench which can form a relatively large space under the seat thereof along with an excellent sense of openness back and forth. SOLUTION: The base ends of brackets 5 which are separated by the required dimensions from the floor surface 1 while facing forward are fastened on the respective fronts of a pair of left and right supports 2 erected on the floor surface 1. The undersurface almost at the central part between left and right end parts of the seat body 11 is securely placed on the top surfaces of the front end parts of both the brackets 5.
