1297722 Polyamide composition MONSANTO CO 10 May 1971 [11 May 1970] 13980/71 Heading C3R A composition comprises (P) a fibre-forming polyamide and, as separate phase, 1-15% wt., based on (P), of a tertiary amine where each R is a C #8 alkyl group, R1 is (CH 2 ) 2-4 and n#15. (P) may be nylon 6 or 66. The amine may be added to molten (P). A mixture of different amines may be used. The composition may be melt-spun to yield filaments with good antistatic properties.
