<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner sealing structure and a sealing material which ensure desired sealability for a long time while restricting a production cost increase, satisfy recyclability, and are suitable for environmental protection. <P>SOLUTION: The toner sealing structure has the sealing material 30 that prevents a toner leak from two members by being interposed between the two members of a copying apparatus 1, that is, an image forming roller 5 or the like and a housing 8 which relatively move, by being located on the internal face 8a of the housing 8, and by being firmly pressed to the peripheral faces 5a or the like of both ends of the image forming roller 5 or the like. In the sealing material 30, napped area 31a is formed on the surface of a ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene layer 31.
