PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent brake noise, regardless of manufacturing variation of components structuring a device, specifications of the components, age deterioration of the components, and wear. SOLUTION: In the vehicular brake device, pressure applied on a wheel cylinder 4 of a brake hydraulic circuit 3 is changed according to a depressing state of a brake pedal 2, thereby adjusting friction force between a friction material in the wheel cylinder 4 side and a rotating element in a wheel side. A brake ECU variation controls to make pressure in the wheel cylinder 4 side of the brake hydraulic circuit 3 intermittently become almost zero, at a specified frequency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
