PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive electronic flash device as an electronic flash device used as an auxiliary light source for a digital still camera and a silver halide camera. SOLUTION: A conductive pattern 9 is formed on the surface of a printed board 6. A conductive umbrella reflector 2 abuts on the pattern 9 and is electrically connected, and a trigger electrode for a flash light discharge tube 1 inserted in the reflector 2 is formed. A pair of notched holes 8 as a fitting part for attaching the discharge tube 1 of an elastic member 4 is provided on the board 6. In a state where the reflector 2 is held between the discharge tube 1 and the board 6, both sides (vicinity of both ends) of the discharge tube 1 and the board 6 are locked by the member 4 through a pair of notched holes 8 (fitting part).
