PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an insect-repelling fabric which sustains an insect-repelling effect against insects, ticks, fleas, and the like for a long period and has good washing resistance and weather resistance, to provide an insect-repelling composition, and to provide a fabric coated with the composition. SOLUTION: This method for producing the long-acting insect-repelling fabric having good weather resistance and washing resistance comprises spray-coating a fabric with a composition comprising a wood terpene or a wood terpene composition extracted from white cedar, palm, Cryptomeria japonica, or the like, as an active ingredient, catalyst type inorganic fine particle nano fine particles, and a resin emulsion.
