PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management device for efficiently generating print data necessary for outputting printed matter, and for efficiently managing a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: This data management device is provided with: a print information acquiring part for acquiring print information to be printed on a printing medium and identification information imparted to each printing medium; a management information acquiring part for acquiring the identification information and management information; and a data management part for storing the print information and management information whose identification information match by associating them with each other into a management information database according to the print information and identification information acquired by the print information acquiring part and the identification information and management information acquired by the management information acquiring part.
