Test bed for a motor vehicle combustion engine (18) with which the engine can be tested under conditions corresponding to extreme deceleration, acceleration and or angular positioning of the vehicle. The test bed has a cardanically pivoting mounting frame (13) for the engine. Each of the axles (2) of the mounting are independently controllable via a rotary drive (12).
