PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system of glass structure, capable of intimidating by producing a roaring sound or strong light immediately when the glass is broken, compelling an invader to consume time before invasion, and having a detecting means without malfunctioning. SOLUTION: In the security system having a plurality of kinds of security apparatuses, at least including a detection unit, an alarm means for issuing a peripheral circumstance change detected by the detection unit, and a transmission means for transmitting the change to an external supervision center, the above detection unit is a window glass having a translucent conductive film. By detecting a varied resistance of the conductive film via an electrode disposed on the end portion of a window glass pane, the security system detects breakage of the window glass.
