DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system for vehicle development that reduces a workload on each worker by enabling concurrent and real-time vehicle specification management and project progress and enabling short-time operation/processing of vehicle assembly. SOLUTION: A specification management system 1 manages specifications as electronic information. First storing means 3 store solid CAD data Fp on parts and units. Second storing means 4 store the solid CAD data Fp as digital image data DM. A terminal 5 is used to specify parts and/or units of a vehicle from a data group managed in the specification management system 1 and direct the second storing means 4 to create vehicle assembly data.
