PNEUMATIC TIRE CONTAINING LOW PCA OIL COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a pneumatic tire so that no change is recognized in the performance of the rubber composition even on changing to use a low PCA (polycyclic aromatic compound) oil.

SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided by containing a vulcanizable rubber composition containing 100 pts. mass elastomer containing approximately 40-90 pt. mass solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber having >38 mass % styrene content and approximately 10-60 pt. mass at least 1 kind of an additional elastomer, and approximately 10-70 pts. mass process oil having approximately -80 to -40°C glass transition temperature with <3 mass % polycyclic aromatic content as determined by an IP346 method.
