METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FINE METALLIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a comparatively inexpensive fine metallic component of high quality. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the fine metallic component comprises immersing a resin die having a recess and a powder of a metal compound into an organic solvent; depositing a metal on the surface of the resin die with an ultrasonic wave to form a metal layer; filling the recess with the metal layer; taking the product out; isolating the metal in the recess by polishing the metal layer of the surface; and removing the metal from the resin die to produce the fine metallic component. A lithographic technique is effective in producing the resin die. When producing a component such as an interposer, a ceramic or glass die can be used in place of the resin die.
