This retaining device (1) is a constituent part of a container arrangement having at least two containers (5, 5'), and accommodates the containers (5, 5'). The container arrangement is characterized by such an arrangement of the containers (5, 5') in the retaining device (1) that the containers can be removed from the retaining device (1) in a predeterminable sequence.
