PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and efficiently produce an appropriate search result when the purpose of a search is a matter related to a keyword. SOLUTION: A database stores keywords and attributes of the keywords in association with document IDs identifying their source documents. As a search key, one or more keywords and/or items of attribute information not specifying keywords are input, and according to the keywords and/or attributes related to the attribute information, the database is searched.
