PURPOSE: A radiator for reducing vibration in idle of an engine and a control method thereof are provided to maintain balance through reduction of vibration of a vehicle body all over the idle area, by utilizing the radiator as an active damper. CONSTITUTION: A radiator(10) for reducing vibration in idle of an engine comprises an unbalance mass unit(30) for giving unbalance to a radiator fan(20) when the radiator fan rotates in an idle state; first and second accelerometers(23,24) measuring vibration of the radiator and vibration of a lower support member(22) and transmitting vibration values measured to a control unit(40); and the control unit executing control to make the vibration phase of the radiator and the vibration phase of the lower support member compensated with each other with a phase difference of 180 degrees.
