摘要 PURPOSE: A section shape optimization method of a cowl top cover for ventilation of a vehicle is provided to prevent a driver from falling asleep during driving by keeping the indoor pleasant with preventing frost with ventilating efficiently, and to cut down expenses by manufacturing the cowl top cover for optimal ventilation with simple programming. CONSTITUTION: Pressure distribution of a cowl top cover hole is analyzed based on the basic design of a vehicle, and the target value is set considering factors such as the size of the vehicle and indoor environment based on the analysis(S10). The section shape factor variable of the cowl top cover structure is selected, and pressure distribution of the cowl top cover hole is analyzed(S12). The section shape factor variable is set optimally in equalizing the analysis output to the target value by comparing the analysis with the target value(S14), and the section shape factor is modified and returned to the pressure distribution analysis step(S22). The pressure distribution of the cowl top cover hole is analyzed three-dimensionally based on the optimum value(S16), and the shape of the cowl top cover is displayed on the screen with programming(S18).
