PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus and a method for controlling internal temperature of desalination system, which are able to keep the internal temperature of the desalination system constant by controlling an amount of steam flown in a briner heater, thereby preventing scale from generating at an inner wall of an evaporator tube. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a pressure detection part (25) which measures vapor pressure flown-in from a brine heater (21), a pressure control part (24) which compares a pressure reference value with the pressure value measured from the pressure detection part to output a valve control signal, a steam control valve (26) which controls an amount of vapor flown-in the brine heater in accordance with the valve control signal of the pressure control part, a temperature transmitter (22) which measures temperature of brine steam that is heated from the brine heater and flown out, and a temperature controller (23) which compares a pre-determined temperature reference value with the temperature value measured from the temperature detection part to determine the pressure reference value and output the pressure reference value to the pressure control part.
