PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition concurrently equipped with flexibility, heat resistance, and weather resistance, by using a vinyl polymer narrow in molecular weight distribution and low in viscosity, with its molecules containing (meth)acryloyl groups at a high rate. SOLUTION: In the coating composition, a vinyl polymer [polymer (I)], which has at least one (meth)acryloyl group in its molecule, accounts for 1-80 wt.%.
