PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot system capable of highly accurately and synchronously controlling respective robots connected by a network. SOLUTION: Robot control devices 1C, 2C and 3C have a storage part 10 for storing a work program including a command for allowing the respective robots 1R, 2R and 3R to perform desired operation, a command interpreting part 20 for interpreting the command by reading out the program, an operation commanding part 30 for generating a position or a speed command on the basis of output of the command interpreting part 20, and a robot shaft control part 40 for controlling a driving part of the robots on the basis of output of the operation commanding part 30. Among the robot control devices connected by a communication passage 5, one is set as a communication master robot control device 1C, and the other robot control device is set as communication slave robot control devices 2C and 3C. The communication master robot control device 1C has a synchronizing signal transmitting part 50 for transmitting a synchronizing signal to the communication slave robot control devices 2C and 3C, and the communication slave robot control devices 2C and 3C activate the operation commanding part 30 on the basis of the synchronizing signal.
