A multi-layered high-density recording medium of the present invention includes optical power related information for all layers, and a optical power adjusting method of the present invention reads first optical power related information for all layers from a multi-layered optical disk placed in a disk player, stores the read information in another storage device, and immediately makes a current optical power optimal to a moved layer without accessing the placed multi-layered optical disk by referring to the stored optical power related information when moving to another layer during record or reproduction.
