<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source supply system for efficiently reducing the power consumption of overall equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This power source supply system is provided with a network device including an LAN controller 2 and a physical layer device 3, a voltage monitoring part 4 for monitoring the presence/absence of power source supply to the network device by detecting the voltage change of a signal running on a network and a packet detecting part 5 for detecting a package, and for transmitting it to the voltage monitoring part 4, and for supplying a power source to the LAN controller 2.
