PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition excellent in transparency and lifting/peeling prevention. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains an acrylic polymer (a) and an oligomer (b). The acrylic polymer (a) contains as the main monomer component an alkyl (meth)acrylate having a 4-12C alkyl group and as a monomer component a carboxy-group-containing monomer in an amount of 1-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total monomer components and has a wt. average mol.wt. of 500,000-900,000. The oligomer (b) contains as the main component a cyclic-structured ethylenically unsaturated monomer giving, when homopolymerized, a homopolymer having a glass transition temperature of 60-190°C, also contains as a monomer component a carboxy-group-containing monomer in an amount of 1-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total monomer components, and has a wt. average mol.wt. of 3,000-6,000.
