PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impervious sheet structure which exhibits sufficient water impervious performance even if a joining method for impervious sheets by fasteners such as bolts is used, and the intervals in arrangement of the fasteners are widened. SOLUTION: Water stop packing 10 is arranged between the end faces 9a and 9b of impervious sheets 1a and 1b. The packing 10 consists of a beltlike planar part 12, and projecting parts 11a and 11b continuously connected to both the edges of the planar part 12, and the projecting parts 11 are more projected than each plane including both the faces of the planar part. Further, an upper press plate 2 and a lower press plate 3 are arranged so as to hold the impervious sheets 1a and 1b from the upper and lower sides, and they are pressingly held to mutually approaching directions by a bolt 4a and a nut 5a. At this time, the pressing force by the upper press plate 2 and the lower press plate 3 concentrates on the projecting parts 11 of the packing 10 via the end faces 9a and 9b, so that, even if the intervals in arrangement of the bolts 4 are widened, the contact stress is not reduced, and sufficient impervious effect can be maintained.
