PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise efficiency of work from processing and stacking to packing of sheet bodies and to enable automation. SOLUTION: A processing system 10 conveys a plurality of paper sheaves 12A produced by cutting and chopping in a width direction, sequentially feeds them to a transfer conveyor 102, transports them in a length direction from the transfer conveyor, and feeds them to a cover sheet application device 94A. At the cover sheet application device 94A, the paper sheaves are superposed with cover sheets 92, and fed to an inversion apparatus 96. At the inversion apparatus, the paper sheaves are inverted such that the cover sheets are at upper sides, and are fed out to a cover sheet application device 94B. At this cover sheet application device 94B, the cover sheets are superposed with lower face sides of the paper sheaves.
