PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette which surely prevents abrasion when a reel is rotated at a high speed, thereby preventing the production of abrasion powder and the generation of oscillation caused by the abrasion. SOLUTION: A center pin 25 is provided either in the upper part of the center of the reel 13 or in a pressing mechanism 35, and a pin-supporting part 39e to which the center pin 25 is contacted is provided in the remaining part. The center pin 25 is molded with a resin whose plastic deformation hardness is in a range of 49-205.8 MPa (5-21 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>), and the pin-supporting part 39e is molded with a resin whose plastic deformation hardness is in a range of 147-588 MPa (15-60 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>). The center pin 25 contains 10-20 mass% of conductive particles and 10 mass% of SiO<SB>2</SB>with respect to the conductive particles. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
