The profiled foil or sheet metal (16) lines the wall of the oven in a domestic cooker. It is flexible and can be bent through 90 degrees e.g. at the junction between a sidewall and the floor of the oven. The foil has an array of shallow regular hexagonal pits (162) separated by narrow ridges (161) producing a honeycomb effect. The pits form parts of spheres with a radius of 5 to 25 mm and a depth of 0.1 to 3 mm.
