The clip comprises a hook 68 adapted to attach to the foot of a rail or to retain a damper on one side, a first elongate member 64 arranged to extend from the hook beneath the rail foot, a second elongate member 60 extending in a direction transverse to the first, and a retention element 52 adapted to retain a damper on the second side of the rail. There are preferably two of each of the first 64, 66 and second elongate members 60, 62, extending in divergent directions so as to attach to the damper at spaced locations, formed of a single rod of e.g. spring steel. Alternatively, the clip has elongate members 102 extending at both ends of the member which lies beneath the rail foot, each having a retention element for a respective damper. |
