PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spot welding gun and a portable spot welding equipment which are capable of preventing wear, seizure, air leakage or the like of a piston and a cylinder caused by the friction of an inner wall of the cylinder with the piston, and increasing the space L between a main electrode and a sub electrode, excellent in durability and convenient. SOLUTION: In the spot welding gun, a main electrode side hand grip (8a) is connected to a rear end side of a piston on a substantially coaxial manner to the axis of a main electrode (4), and a main electrode side cable connection part (9) is conducted to the main electrode (4) from the rear end side of the main electrode side hand grip (8a) in a substantially coaxial manner to the axis of the main electrode (4). A cooling water feed means (90) is abutted on the main electrode cable connection part (9), a guide ring (10) of the inside diameter substantially equal to the outside diameter of the piston is screwed in a threaded portion (11) on the tip side in a cylinder (1), and a plurality of piston guide means (12) which are opened with the diameter substantially equal to the outside diameter of the piston are provided on an inner wall side of the rear end of the cylinder.
